5K - Jan 15th • 10K - Feb 19th • 15k - March 12
The Inaugural USTrisports Winter Run Series will take place Jan, Feb and March 2022 at Riverton City Park. We are excited to keep moving this winter. The 5k, 10k and 15k are timed perfectly to build or maintain fitness leading up to several spring events. The Riverton 1/2 Marathon, The Salt Lake Marathon and 1/2 Marathon or for our triathletes, Oceanside 70.3.
Each event includes a finisher memento, long sleeve t-shirt and warm treats. The Series participants will also receive a special series medal.
Start/Finish:
All events will start and finish at Riverton City Park, Large Pavillion. 1452 W 12600 S, Riverton, UT 84065.
5k: 3.1 mile out and back following the perimeter of the park to 1300 west. South on 1300 west to turn around and back to the finish at the park.
10k: The 10k builds on the 5k. Following the perimeter of the park, then south on 1300 west. Down the S curve, a short loop through Bluffdale, and back up Lovers Lane to 1300 west. North on 1300 west to the city park. Around the park to the finish. A short section of Lover's Lane is not paved.
15k: The 15k builds on the 10k. Heading out of Riverton City park, down 1300 W, looping through Bluffdale and onto the Jordan River Parkway for an out and back, then back on Lovers Lane and then to the park for the finish. A short section of Lover's land is not paved.

Packet Pick up will be located at Riverton City Park, the morning of each race beginning at 7am

08:00 am - Race Start
Finish Line Area:
We will have sponsors and partners in the finish line area. Please take a moment or two to visit them and thank them for their support. Finisher memento and athlete food will be available in the finish line area. If you are meeting friends or family members after the race, please move away from the finish to avoid congestion.
Weather:
Winter weather in Utah can vary greatly. Please be prepared for any and all conditions. (sun, rain, snow, ice, slush, etc.)
We will make every effort to make the course as safe as possible, including altering the course itself, however, we can not mitigate all weather obstacles. Please dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear. If you are uncomfortable racing in bad weather, please take that into consideration before showing up at the starting line.
